Ploemen Life Science Consultancy B.V. is a one-man consultancy firm established in 2019 by Ivo Ploemen, PhD.

Ivo has a proven track record in science, project and program management, business development, M&A (buyer and seller side), valuation, licensing and deal negotiation. His  strong scientific background combined with experience in all steps of business transaction processes within the (global) pharmaceutical industry ensure a quick, strategic, thought out and thorough process.

Ivo authored numerous scientific publications and is an inventor on a patent. He holds a MSc in Biomedical science and a PhD in Medical Microbiology. He completed an executive MBA (cum laude) at Tias Business School. After conceptualizing and negotiating major license deals worth over 100 mln USD, he started his own company to help guide a diverse set of companies as an independent consultant. Ivo uses his expertise to propel life science companies into new markets.  He strives, by helping other companies, to ultimately contribute to a better health for those most in need.
